Burnout and Stress Management among physicians has been highlighted in journals and professional meetings, but no systematic and comprehensive business application has been discovered yet to our knowledge, until now.
The students researched the main causes of stressors in physicians’ lives and identified the demographic in need. The students used flask framework to develop web application with Python and HTML. The final product is an interactive website that users can create a profile account with. The website asks the user how they feel and tracks stressors. The webpage is also programmed to suggest tips for stress management based on entered information. The students their long-term goals are to deploy as a mobile app and create more complex algorithms to document stress. These youth made the first steps in managing physician well-being.
